    Hi,

I want to buy the X61 Tablet. However, right now on the website it doesn't have the option to configure with the higher SXGA resolution.

Did they just run out of stock for SXGA for X61 Tablet? When will I be able to buy the high res tablet?

I noticed that I can buy the SXGA X60 Tablet. But my dilemna is I want at least the Intel X3100 graphics, and not the GMA950. I think the GMA950 is not as future proof, and even if it can "run" Vista now, down the road it will give me problems. X3100 is my safest bet, no? (The X60 uses GMA 950, X61 uses X3100)

    Thanks for any help.

PS. My friend uses a digitizer Fujitsu Tablet that has XGA. He told me "resolution is everything on a tablet", so if I can get a higher res, I should go for it. In particular, I hope to write in finer print, like I can on standard college-ruled looseleaf paper..

Hmm, that is very interesting, they might be short on supply or they could be moving away from offer the high res screen. My suggestion would be to call lenovo and see if a CSR is able to configure one for you with the SXGA screen. Take luck
