This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     X61 Tablet standby mode problem

    My X61 does this pretty weird thing...when I use the Fn+F4 combination to put it into standby mode, the computer stops responding after I use the combination again to resume to normal, the screen becomes black and it won't respond to any command, forcing me to reboot it. :(

    The strange part is this does not occur when I leave it in standby for short periods of time(less than 20 minutes) :confused:

    Does anyone experience the same thing? I'm wondering if it's got something to do with the Thinkvantage Power Manager settings.....
