    Dear all,

I recently format my X61 and installed XP, without delete the hidden partition. Now when I wanted to recovery back to Vista, the ThinkVantage button seems not fuctioning.

    Pls help.

When you restart the computer hit the ThinkVantage button just like how you hit F1 to get into BIOS, it should load right into the recovery process.

I try many times already. I even removed the additional RAM, and try to press the ThinkVantage on startup. Still unable to perform recovery.

The screen that appear was :-
    Press ESC to normal boot
Press F1 to enter Bios Setup
Press F11 to choose other boot device

You need to reinstall Rescue and Recovery like I said above. During the format, this program was erased. You need to reinstall it in order to gain access to the recovery partition.

    Why did you remove RAM?

I read a forum from Lenovo, have to remove all the havrdware that I have been installed, make it back to original, then press F11 while reboot the system.

Did you install R&R for Vista or for XP?

I think you need to install it for XP.
