I've searched the forums but haven't found anyone posting their how-to or specific experience with installing XP on either the X61 or X61s.

I am considering purchasing one of these for my father's business, but being able to run XP is a must.

Can anyone post, link or comment on installing XP on the X61 series?

I will probably get my TZ towards the end of the month. I hate waiting.

They don't give you the option of XP in Australia, so I guess I will have to install it all for him.

    Thanks for the help.

It isn't hard at all to install xp. Just make sure you have all the drivers you need.

Just make sure you have another computer/OS to download drivers, or download them before you do a reinstall. XP Pro didn't recognize the ethernet, wireless, or modem on my X61s. All i had in my Network Connections folder was firewire :( .
