    After completely reformatting my HD and installing winxp on my X61, the fan is trying to keep my CPU below 30C. Is this normal? I've played with a bunch of power management settings and I cannot get the fan to shut up. What does your x61 idle at?

    Note: Note sure if this was different with vista
