    X61 speaker turns on w/ headphones in

    ok this is really annoying me, when im listening to music or watching a movie my ultrabase speakers will suddenly come on even though the headphones are still in the jack, after removing the ultrabase and reattaching they go off again....suggestions??

    Have you tried plugging your headphones into the headphone jack of the docking station?

    well no, but it only started doing it recently before it worked fine :/

    apparently this only happens with GOM Player while i watch movies.....very weird... noone else has this?

    ok as far as i can see this is the GOM Player's use of the "audio boost" feature which makes the audio louder, but apparently this trips some circuit and turns on the ultrabase speakers, surprised noone else had this issue
