    Hi all,

    Sorry for re-posting...
    I've just done a clean-install of Windows 7 on my X61 tablet (1400x1050).
After that I fired up system update 4 and installed most of the drivers and updates.

One weird thing is that on-screen brightness indicator is missing when I use the Fn+Home / Fn+End, while on-screen audio indicator and on-screen cap-lock / num-lock indicator are working.
When I use the tablet shortcut menu and click onto the brightness up and down menu, the on-screen brightness is there. However, Fn+Home and Fn+End do not trigger any on-screen brightness indicator.

How can I get the on-screen brightness back when I press the Fn+Home / Fn+End?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    - M

n.b. I have installed all the most updated drivers using system update 4 from Lenovo, and including the Hotkeys driver even separately.

    Try reinstalling the Hotkey driver.
