Hi, i wonder what i did wrong...i just replaced the screen and now the internet signal is rubbish....its intermittent.. to test it i went to a online broadspeed tests the Dll rate rises n falls below 1mb....sometimes its hits 20mb...all in a few secs.
The internet works great with cable straight to modem...the broadband test works like it should with no dropouts.

What could i have done wrong when assembling the laptop back? Any tips welcomed.

Ah on the flip side..perhaps i should tell you that the reason i replaced the cracked screen was because i slipped backwards on to my laptop which was in my racksack at the time. Yes it was icy conditions...and yes im the same chap it happened to before with my T61

So with that in the equation...not sure it applies..i did try it before i replaced the screen and it worked fine....who knows..it is intermittent.

    Thanks

Yes I would what sniper sung suggested and double check all your wiring, make sure it is plugged in.

There is a slight chance that if you bent one of the wires, it got interrupted somewhere. You may want to check its continuity with a multimeter.
