    Hi,

I just purchased an X61T with the SXGA+ Screen and I'm having some trouble with the Pen Input. It appears that the computer is sensing the pen before it even touches the screen. Also, when I tap the screen with the pen, it doesn't register a left click. Has anyone else had any trouble with this?

that's normal.   drawing tablets have done that for the last 15+ years.   this is how you drag your cursor around without clicking.

i've personally never had that problem.   even without tablet drivers installed, a left click with the pen will still work.   this is even true on external drawing tablets (such as ones from wacom).   are you sure you're tapping hard enough?   do you see any visual feedback when tapping?
