    Hi

I hope this hasn't been answered already, if it is just point me in the right direction.

I need an adaptor for an X61s 7667-CTO, I've been told that the most important thing is to look out for the output amps, 3.25 being the bare minimum. Now being new to this and totally confused, i've seen a lenovo AC adaptor 65w 20v with 3.25amps output, and a 90wat 20v with 4.5amps output. Being worried about blowing the battery or even the machine itself, i've been informed that both these should be compatible with this machine.

Would either of these adaptors damage the machine? I was worried about the 4.5amps output of the 90v adaptor, but was told that there is no problem with the higher amps, only if the ampage is lower than 3.25a for this machine would it be a problem.

Is this information correct, or am i just being manipulated by a good salesperson.

Anyway any advice on the correct adaptor, or suitable adaptors for this laptop would be a great help.

    Thanks
