    Hi!

I'm going to the US a couple of days soon and was thinking about buying a X61s. But I can only seem to find one model with the UltraLigth display (766676U).

That is the only model not withdrawn with the UL display listed in the tabook.

Does anyone know if there are other models out there with the UL display and where it's possible to purchase it? Any store or webshop would be great.

I would prefer a model with the L7500 if it exists.

Edit: Looks like the 766676U was withdrawn in September. Impossible to get a x61s with the UL display from other places than lenovo.com in the US then?

    Thank you for any answer!

I also looked everywhere but to no avail. Microcenter had the X61s but they wouldn't open it! In fact, wasn't even sure if it had the UL.

My suggestion is go see X60 or X61 on display at Microcenter. I think even a T series should give you a decent idea of the screen. They are certainly nothing to brag about when compare to Sony but they do the trick. I am hoping that UL will be noticeably brighter than the regular X60/61 displays...

I've contacted some stores, but most of them had no x61s in stock at all.

The UL looks a lot brighter that the standard X61 LCD, which I find too dim for use outside on a bright day.

I'll drop by Microcenter and see if they have something, thanks for the tip!

Will probably end up with a regular X61s though.
