    Hi,

anyone has a picture showing these two side by side?

I have a X60s and really want higher resolution, but am worrying about the extra size and weight.

    help please...

    Thanks.

    Here.
It's X61s vs T40 which is exactly the same size wise (well thicker) as the T61 14" 4:3

Be aware that the X61s comes in XGA only.
You can opt for a SXGA+ screen with the T61
Well, I guess you already knew that. :spinny:

    Thanks.

Yeah, the XGA on my x60s is the only thing that I don't really like. The weight and size is awesome.

I agree that XGA is a big turn off.

I wish they came out with something like Dell's XPS 1330. A 13 inch screen, either wide or regular would be really nice with a compact design with wxga+ or sxga+ screen.

Add that with a LED backlight with a SSD and you'll have a badass tough little ultra portable.

But until that day comes the X61 will be bleh.

do the standard screen T61's have roll cage in the LCD lid or do they have the same design as T60?

Why don't you get the X series tablets? You get a SXGA+ screen in a small frame! Might be perfect for you!

    Cheers,
