Anyone actually get this running on X300? Yes already done the Vista 64bit so not interested in discussion there. This is a clean install btw. Every driver I have tried doesn't work. So anyone has drivers like chipset and Nic card drivers please let me so I can get this guy up and running.

    thanks.

You tried the drivers from Lenovo's website? I've had 64 bit Vista on my R60. Vista had every driver except the power management driver.

Yup sure did. Even tried putting then in combat mode they still didn't work.
I finally gave up and went back to 32bit XP. If anyone has their working with 64bit pro I would love to hear how.

What's combat mode? It looks like the X300 isn't being offered 64 bit Vista, but he X301 is. Perhaps some of the X301's drivers will work.

"What's combat mode" its short for compatibility mode. Often when in a 64bit environment some programs won't install cause the .dlls simply won't load in the x86mode. You can use the above to get around it "sometimes". In this instance it was a total failure other than I was able to get VZW card to work but that was it. Thanks for tip on X301 I may look at that.

    Thanks again

ETA- the 301 drivers are basically the same. Infact many of them I had already downloaded. So it looks like the two share drivers. Kinda had to think that the X300 can do Vista 64bit like a dream but can't do XP pro. Oh well.
