This is my first post, but I've been reading quite a while.

I have read how to do the Windows XP Clean install and would like to do that (thanks a ton Arkit3kt). The XP Pro version I have came with another computer from Dell -- it has a Dell-stamped green label. Is it okay to use this disk for the clean install??

I've attached a screenshot of the disk.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

Does your CD have a Dell Logo on it?

My XP Disc looks like this:

Only difference is the $OEM$. I don't think it will work because your CD was made for a Dell system.

If the cd came from dell it will not work. I tried doing this and it won't let you install it
