Hi all,
I decide to keep my X200 even a small part moving freely inside the case, it is in the left corner. I did open keyboard/Palmrest but could not see anything. Anyway I did XP clean install, follow the instructions:
------------------------------------------------
# Start the BIOS Setup Utility menu.
# Select Config.
# Select Serial ATA (SATA).
# Select Compatibility.
# Install Windows XP and Service Pack 2.
# Download Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver from the Web site and extract the driver to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM.
# Run Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver. To do this, go to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE, and double-click install.cmd.
# Turn the computer off and then on again.
# Start the BIOS Setup Utility menu.
# Select Config.
# Select Serial ATA (SATA).
# Select AHCI.
# Start Windows XP. The Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
# Click No, not this time and click Next.
# Select Install from a list or specific location(Advanced), then click Next.
# Select Search for the best driver in these locations. Then select Include this location in the search:, specify the path, C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM, and click Next. The Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
# Click Finish.
# When the System Settings Change window appears, click Yes. The computer restarts
----------------------------------------------------
I did download all drivers for x200 at
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70476
After install all, my x200 still dont recognize the following :
1. Ethernet Controller
2. Network Controller
3. PCI device
4. PCI Serial port
5. PCI simple Communications Controller
6. SM Bus Controller
7. Unknown Device
8. Unknown Device
9. Video Controller
10. Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
anyone can help me please ?
I very appreciate

The file from Lenovo's website only unzips the file. You actually have to go into the C:\Drivers folder and install the files with the setup files.

Hi ZaZ:
I could not get you, can you tell me in details?
Thank you

You downloaded the files, right? You opened the extractor. That just unzips the file. It doesn't install anything. You have to go into the C:\Drivers folder and install the drivers using the setup.exe file. The file you downloaded from Lenovo doesn't install anything. That's why none of the drivers installed.
