This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I would install the following:

    Intel Chipset Drivers (choose which is appropriate for your T61P):
    Intel Chipset Support for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit) and XP (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPad
    Intel Chipset Support for Windows Vista, XP, 2000 - ThinkPad Reserve Edition, R61, R61e, R61i, T61, T61p, X61, X61s, X61 Tablet, X300

    Window HDA driver:
    Windows XP Update Module Q888111 (US Only) - ThinkPad

    You might need the following, or if it won't work, try Windows Update.
    Intel PRO/1000 LAN adapter software for Windows XP - ThinkPad R61, R61i, T60, T60p, T61, T61p, X60, X60s, X60 Tablet, X61, X61s, X61 Tablet, X300, Reserve Edition

    You might need the following, or if it won't work, try Windows Update.
