For anyone who recently ordered and/or recently received a Y410/510, what were your estimated ship/delivery dates, and how accurate were they? I know Lenovo is very slow, as well as not giving any details, but I'm trying to get a better idea.

What was your order date, est ship date, est delivery, opposed to actual ship and delivery dates?

Honestly i don't remember. However when i ordered it, the laptop was still in "pre-order" condition, because at the time Haswell just came out. So my laptop was actually done being assembled on the 18th, and i finally got the UPS slip on the 27th, with the actual UPS dude shipping the laptop to my house at 8AM on the 28th.

I live in Charlottetown, which is in Canada, but is located on an island with only one major airport on it :p, and road traffic is limited to one bridge (a 14km one) and two ferries :p

I ordered it 9/7 and it got shipped 9/25 and arrived on 9/27. Their shipping tracker told me that it would ship 12/31 and get here 1/4/14 or something crazy. I called them and they said that they were waiting for more parts and basically any shipping estimates up until the final one they email you shouldn't be trusted.

I ordered mine on 9/11 and the delivery date was pushed back until 10/16.
    Not sure what's the delay.

Mine was just "released to manufacturing" with an estimated ship date of 10/6, but since I just ordered it on the 24th, wondering if it will get pushed back

I have a question. Why are you buying a Y410p? That pollux (Clevo) of yours is probably stronger.

The Y410p is actually for my not-techie girlfriend. She bought a Macbook Pro a few months ago, which she later regretted after it wasn't even able to play Sims 3. I convinced her I could get her a much nicer system for the same price she paid for her Mac. I'm still loving my Clevo, runs like a champ. Heck, I probably won't replace it for another two years.
