This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     The notebookreview.com notebook database lists 3 Y series Lenovos to be released this year. Are they Thinkpads? Where do they fit in among the existing line? I've been holding out for a 14 inch widescreen T series for portability and high quality, although I wouldn't mind going for something like the X series if it had an optical drive.

    You can find them for sale on Lenovo India
    They are under Lenovo's 3000 series

    I have one, Y400. It is a good laptop, though is different than usual design philosophy of thinkpad. Heck, Y series even different than all of other 3000 series.
