For the past couple of months my Y2P has been waking from sleep while in my laptop bag! I need to figure this out as it is going to fry my machine.

It seems to coincide with entering and leaving my office. I have reviewed the options in: How To Prevent Your Computer From Waking Up Accidentally and confirmed that my wake settings per device and inside the Wifi Adpater are disabled. When I look at the Event Logs I am receiving a Wake Source: Power Button message when the laptop wakes from sleep. It is not feasible that I am hitting the power button everytime, especially since the y2p's power button in flush with the laptop.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Have you checked the Intel Smart Connect settings? I don't know if this is the cause, but it is on by default and could be the cause of your issues.
