I currently own an ibm thinkpad t41 and i'm looking to get a well-rounded laptop, but this time around i want to get one that has both good looks and decent performance. I'm comparing the hp dv2710us and the lenovo y410 since they both have good preconfigured deals and they are around the same price. Is there any clear difference between the two except the amd/intel processor and 7150m/x3100 graphics? Or is it just a matter of personal preference?

if you like Lenovo , consider the Y510 , which has a much better body and key board than that of the Y410.

Plus , the Y410 has a horrible speaker.

I wish the Y510 was a bit smaller, though.

Intels have better battery life if that's an issue. I think if you want something with a bit better quality, the R61 has it. You can probably get one for a few bucks more. They have a 15% coupon code right now - USPSUPERSAVINGS.
