On battery, the Y410P shoots the GT 755M to 135MHz and it can barely handle playing games.

Is there anyway to fix this?

    nope.

The battery just isn't strong enough to fully power the nvidia gpu. You're better off just switching to the igpu on battery.

Aw, that sucks. Is it like that for all gaming laptops like the Blade and what-not?

Also, is there a way to OC the iGPU?

I think the blade also underclocks the gpu when on battery, but not as much.

Overclocking the iGPU should be possible with intel xtu though I have not tried it.

Hm why is it that it needs that much power to run the GPU? Is there no fix for it :/?

A 72w/h battery cannot power a 50W GPU and a 47W CPU, on top of a screen and other peripherals. This is an issue with all laptops.

If you wanna game on battery, use the 4600HD. There is no other fix.

    Ah, I see.

That's quite unfortunate imo, I thought these were "gaming" laptops, although it does completely make sense. It'd zap the battery in less than 30 mins @ 100+ Whr.
Oh well, the 4600 is quite capable of handling most things, CS GO, Minecraft and League of Legends.

    Thanks for the help!
