Hi, I was wondering if anyone has hooked up their y410p to wqhd monitors that support resolutions higher than 1920x1080? Have you tried gaming at higher resolutions? How was the performance?

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M - NotebookCheck.net Tech

This page shows the performance of a similar (but not identical) card at 1080p. Note that i am using the 660 over the 750 because Notebookcheck uses the 750M DDR3 in their benchmarks :(

Thanks for the link, I was looking for something like that to gauge how well the 750 (in this case good close equivalent) benchmarks!

Although, for this thread I was wondering more about whether the card supports QHD res at 2560x1440. I'm really tempted to get a 27" QHD monitor.. haha. I know the card (or laptop, for that matter) doesn't inherently have slots for DVI dual link that most qhd monitors require, but adapters can be used to solve this. Just not quite sure if it'll go well, as DVI duals are designed for desktop graphics cards.

Edit: derp, macbook retina has a 750m and can run 4k (even multiple ones) just fine, so I think the y410p can handle dual dvi. Now just wondering what fps gaming's going to offer at such a high resolution..
