I just got the y410p and thought it would have windows 8 installed onto the 24gb ssd, but instead its installed on the 1tb harddrive. Is there any way I could do a fresh install of everything onto the 24gb ssd? Would it have enough space for windows 8? It didn't come with a CD so I have no idea how to reinstall windows 8 if I needed to anyway.

no 24 gb is not enough for windows 8, the 24gb SSD is used for cache. i m receiving mine today and i also would like to ask ( as i read somewhere ) that I have to install expresscache software to work, or is it allready installed and ready to cache when i will open my laptop 1st time?

    thank you.

Expresscache is preinstalled with the laptop if it has a SSD drive.
