Hi all, I just bought a new y450 (astonishing beautiful, btw) and I don't know how to make a image DVD or a recovery disc.
I try to follow all tha indications on the guide and nothing. tried it burning a dvd with the preinstalled program, and nothing. The only thing that I could do was to copy the pre partitioned disk onto a dvd.

    Thanx for the help.

Just finished making one,(takes 4 dvd to make)go to start, onekey recovery, then create recovery disc..you will need 4 blank dvd r(i use the minus).the program tells you when to pop them in...it takes a while..also you can only do this once....make sure the y450 is plugged in on AC power..hope that helps you....

I tried without the dvd popped in, the program tells me that the direction is invalid.

    Will try again...
