Hat tip to the poster in another thread that alerted me to this...

I can't read or understand Chinese but I was able to navigate to some specs.
Pricing for what looks like the 'performance' Y450, which I'm most interested in, is ¥7,199.00. Google tells me that's $1053.
P7450(2.13 GHz,1066MHz,45nm)/Windows Vista Home Basic/2GB (DDR3 1066MHz)/320GB HDD/14.0" WXGA LED (16:9,1366X768)/NVIDIA Geforce GT 130M 512MB GDDR3/HDMI/2.2kg
Any idea how Lenovo prices translate when models make the jump to the US? Should I expect this thing to be more or less than $1053 before discounts?
What do people think overall?
You'll notice a choice between white and black keyboard is available for both the Y450 and Y550.
I really need a new machine and have been waiting for the Y450 for awhile. Can't get any good info on a solid launch date here in the US, though it should be really soon, right?

US websites should indicate lower prices. Thinkpads for instance, tend to be a lot more expensive in China.

Chinese Lenovo site appears down atm...
