    Welcome to the Y450, Y550, Y650 Owner's Lounge!
    This a place to talk with other owners and share useful tips/tricks/mods to get the most satisfying user experience out of these gaming/multimedia laptops.

    All three models come at 2 color variations

    14, 15.6 or 16 inch screen

    Nvidia, CUDA supported, GT240m, G210m and GT130m.

    Intel Core 2 Duo and Pentium Dual Core cpus, 2 slots of DDR3 memory, sata hdd and sata dvd-rw, 3 x USB 2.0, e-sata, expresscard slot, SD card slot, VGA, HDMI.
    The pll is an SLG8SP556 without the possibility to add it to SetFSB database.

    So overclock only available through pll pinmod.

    Also it is possible to connect an eGPU and have additional graphics power.

    New interesting info will be added soon.

    In order to do a 200 --> 266 overclock with a pinmod you have to remove the resistors in the red circles and add a resistor to the yellow line.

    this is my T4400 OCed @ 2.93GHz!

    and here is a screenshot of my Y550 using eGPU + 5850 Extreme. I think this is a great score considering that my cpu started from 1850.
