    Hey Everyone!!!

Great to have my first post in the Lenovo thread!

Well, I just ordered a Y460p during that deal week and noticed it did not have a back-lit keyboard :( so i was wondering if anyone knew where to buy one for it and if the install will void the warranty?

    Hope you guys can help!!!

Simple answer is no. Lenovo doesn't make any backlit keyboards so that won't work. Popping another manufactures' keyboard wouldn't work.(As far as I know.)

One thing you could do is put LED lights beneath the keyboard but that wouldn't light up keys, rather that spaces between them. (Doesn't look good and isn't too functional.)

Don't get me wrong, backlit keyboard are cool and all.... But learning to touch type is just as powerful.

You may want to look at HP and Dell as they have similar models with backlit keys, but you already ordered the Lenovo.

I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear and I'm not trying to discourage you. Trying to find a solution to this may be more trouble than it's worth. Good luck.
