Hi. I'm considering getting either an Y470 or an Y570. I know the Y470 doesn't have an extra drive bay for a second harddrive, but what about the Y570? I was pretty sure it did, but is that just for the mSATA? What I would like to know is if I can buy an Y570 with one HDD installed, and then buy an SSD-drive (like the Crucial m4) and add it to the computer, so it has both the m4 SSD, and the original HDD?

That's too bad. mSata SDD drives seems to be very few.

You can always buy a HDD caddy to replace the ODD with a HDD.

mSATA are not that hard to find, just the intel ones are the ones out of stock as they're the most commonly known.

Oh cool. Can you direct me to where I can find mSata drives, and maybe where I can get a caddy to replace the ODD?

If I do get a caddy to replace the ODD, can I then easily replace the HDD in the ODD's place with the ODD?
