For some reason, when i close the laptop, the laptop doesn't dim the screen anymore. I restored my power settings and closing the lid still doesn't dim the screen. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you and have a great day

Probably the ACPI drivers became corrupted... go to device manager and delete the drivers, then reboot your computer and the drivers should reinstall automatically and it should start working again...

I went to the ACPI settings and two acpi drivers have warning signs to them..They are "ACPI DelayMan Filter" and "ACPI lid" are the corrupted ones..So i just delete these two and reboot.. I am just trying to be sure because I just reimaged my laptop with one key two days and I'm not trying to start over again...Thanks for the response

Ditto. Deleting those two and rebooting fixed the same issue for me as well.
