I could have sworn when I first got my Y480 that certain of the function keys produced an on-screen prompt. For example, Fn + F5 prompted a screen pop-up to turn the wifi on and off, that the CapsLK key showed on-screen whether it was on or off, that Fn + the sound key showed the volume level. Recently I haven't been able to get these to appear, so after talking to a clueless Lenovo tech on the phone who didn't really know if it was supposed to do this or not, he convinced me to send it in for repair. Apparently they replaced my keyboard, but I still get no on-screen prompts. Was I hallucinating to think these appeared once? If so, how do you toggle wifi on or off without going into control panel and disabling the adapter?

Didn't realize this was a tough question. Can any Y480 (or Y580) owner comment as to what happens when you press Fn + F5? Anyone?
