Hi guys .. I'm having an issue with my Lenovo Y50 that has baffled me - I've never seen this issue on any PC/laptop before.

The issue is, if I'm playing a video (in any player) on just my laptop, it plays fine. But if I then connect my laptop to a TV using HDMI, the video playback becomes choppy. The temporary fix I have is to disable the HDMI audio out speaker, and this fixes the choppy playback, but the audio now plays on my laptop instead of the TV.

I don't know why I'm getting the above issue. Yesterday I reinstalled a bunch of drivers and ffdshow (which I've been using for years), but it hasn't solved the problem.

    Any ideas ?

Maybe hdmi cable problem. Maybe tv at self. Try to connect to monitor with speekers or other tv.
