This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Y50 UK release?

    Okay, so have just seen the wonderful looking lenovo Y50, and if a good review comes my way I'm highly likely to buy it. However, on their UK site it just says 'coming soon' whereas they're taking orders for the US (the US seem to get everything first -.-). My question is, am I likely to be able to have seen a couple of reviews and get one of these babies before October in which I go off to Uni? I appreciate exact release dates may not be available (at least, I couldn't seem to find any), however if people have had prior experience about the delay between UK and US releases, share it here :)

    Hi there! I was wondering the same thing! I want to get one before going off to Uni around mid/end of September and really wondering when they are gonna release this in the UK! Did you ever find any more new info? :)
