    Y50 and external monitor scaling issues?

    Hi,

    I have a UHD Y50 and a 24" benq 1080p monitor.

    When I have my laptop on full 4k resolution, the desktop icons and task bar looks massive on the external monitor because I have 250% scaling on. However I cannot change scaling independently on the display, the only work around is turning down the resolution of my laptop to 1080p. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution around?
