    Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone's come up with a solution or a driver for expresscache on Y500 & Win 8.1?

The old driver for win 8 simply clogs the system and I can't run anything with it. Uninstalling helps, but obviously I'm missing a fair chunk of performance, bootspeed, etc... :(

So anyone found a working driver for this yet?

    Thanks in advance,
    Gloom

I was using this one for Windows 8 and it worked fine. Not sure about 8.1 though because my SSD died before I was able try it. Might be worth a shot if it's a newer version of ExpressCache than what you currently have.

It will work under 8.1, after upgrading to W8.1 a few months ago i did not need to reinstall Expresscache, it worked out of the box.

    This one worked!
    Thank you so much!

Oddly enough I tried 2 other versions before that, and both of those installed fine but didn't do anything at all (cmd -> eccmd -info just said cache read/write 0gb all the time). But this one appears to work so god bless you :)

Merry christmas & happy new year to you guys.
