Hey, I'm finding the keypad to be a lot more 'sticky' and stiff compared to the rest of my keyboard. It's quite jarring to transfer to it from typing. I've tried cleaning and re-seating the keys to no avail. I have noticed that the brackets they sit on are oriented sideways rather than how most of the other keys are.
Wondering if my case is isolated?

If you think it's sticky because of material trapped underneath the keys (crumbs, debris, dried sugary soda or coffee spills), then you can clean your keyboard. Disassemble the laptop, remove the keyboard, and wash it by submerging it in warm soapy water. Rinse it off (with distilled water), and leave it to dry for 24-72 hours.
If you think the problem goes deeper than that, and you think it's a defective keyboard, call Lenovo and get it replaced under warranty. -
That's the thing, nothing has been spilled on it and it's only the number pad. I'm wondering if it's may be just due to how the brackets are situated sideways. I've removed all keys and brackets to clean it, and I've used q-tips to go deeper.
I'll investigate more, I'll also check to see if my warranty is still valid.
