I just received my 510p laptop today, and I'm having problems with the touchpad. I cannot right click or left click. Only single taps and gestures work.

Ever tried heading to the ELAN Control Panel (under Mouse in control panel)

I don't have access to my laptop at the moment so i can't give any screenshots.

Yes, I went there and the left click is assigned as select while the right click is assigned as pop up menu. I noticed when I click the lower left area( the part that is assigned as the left click) it only counts as a tap. Same problem with the right area, it only registers as a tap and not the right click function... Argh I'm hoping this laptop isn't defective.

Okay I managed to get it fixed! I'm such an idiot. I didn't realize it was a press able left click and right click buttons.
