    I have the T5800 in mine, but I've seen some with P8600 or even higher. Do I have the same motherboard as them?

    I downloaded AIDA32 and it said "Unknown" under the motherboard section so I can't even look that up :(

    I have the model with a 9300M in it but I don't want to invest in a CPU if it won't work :(

    Given that you are using the T5800 CPU, then it is most likely incompatible with the P8xxx CPU with the 1066 mhz FSB.
