    Hey guys,

I'm visiting a friend this weekend, and I forgot to bring the AC adapter for my Y550. My friend has an HP laptop, and her power cord has the exact same output ratings as mine (19VDC, 4.74A, 90W Max). Is it safe to use her cord to charge my computer?

    Thanks!

the power plug would not fit or does it. The ideapad has many one that uses ASUS adapter.
