    Y550 with GT 240M?

    Ok, I like my laptops to run cool.

    I am debating on this or a Vaio CW with pretty much the same specs except it's video card is a GT 230M and has blu ray for same price.

    The CW does not get hot when running GTA4 for 2 hours.

    Does this stay equally as cool? Battery life on a 6 cell?

    Well the Y550 won't run cool but it will be slightly warm but never hot.
