How well does the laptop dissipate heat. Does it get hot at all. Heat is a big issue for many people. The 14 inches version seem to have a lot of people complaining about it get too hot a couple hours of gaming session.

the 14 incher from what i have heard has a harder time dissipating the heat.

It runs very quiet and cool when not stressing it out.

When gaming the fan kicks into high, which it should, and its reasonable and it does get hot. When gaming this is not a laptop, if you put it in your lap and game, then you will be blocking the vents on the bottom, plus it would be very uncomfortable.

I have been playing all the current games, most of them at high settings with zero problems.

If you are looking for the best bang for the buck and are willing to sacrifice a little on screen resolution.

The acer timelineX is another bang for buck notebook like this.

Plus the speakers on the lenovo are the best i have ever had on a laptop.

The only other thing i can think of, is that the outter case is a little flexy. Just take care when throwing it into your backpack. In my backpack the laptop pouch is in the back, i make sure to put the screen towards the back, i dont want my power adapter to crush into my lcd.

overall im very pleased with my sub $800 gaming laptop.
