my new Y560 gets very hot on the top surface of the computer - (the back of the display) - by hot I mean almost too hot to touch - more so on the right side of the computer - this doesn't seem right to me - is it?

battery life? what should the average battery life be for 1) typical web browsing? 2) for graphics intensive web activities like watching youtube videos? 3) for gaming?

    1. There's a Y560 thread. To help cut down clutter, future questions you have should be posted in that thread :)

    2. Mine does not get hot on the back of the display. Ever. And I'll game for hours at times.

    3. Battery life depends on which model you got. My i7 with dedicated graphics gets about 3 hours (after tweaking some settings) if all I'm doing is browsing the web, doing light C++ coding, etc. I'm not even gonna bother trying to game on battery power. In order to get the longevity I have, I've cut the processor power to the 0% step.

    Hope this helps :)
