3dmark06 maxes my GPU at 78deg
Left for dead, 2 hours 84deg
    Counter Strike source 81deg

should i pull off the cpu/gpu cooler and clean off the goop and replace it with arctic silver? Or are these temps good enough not to worry.

Does anybody have the modded bios that switches the fn/ctrl keys. The thread that has these, the link to the bios is dead.

How much battery loss will i get getting, by installing a 7200 speed hard drive?

The Wifi card in this laptop is garbage, having searched the web, i found loads of info that regards this atheros ar9285 wifi card as crap.

so far so good in the 2 days having this.

    1) The temps are little high for a y560 but still within safe operational temperature. New compound could help along with a cooling pad and the latest BIOS update that addresses thermal heat.

    2) Someone else will have to help you on that....

    3) Not much. Maybe a handful of minutes if that.

    4) Well, the wireless card is easy accessible if you want to replace it..

    5) Spot on for the ATI 5730.

    6) A TON of people are experiencing problems with there screens with the y560. The fact that it doesn't bother you that much is all the better.

Will pulling the coolers off the gpu and cpu to replace the thermal paste void my warranty ? Is there a security sticker that i will have to pull off?

Thx for the privious response 3fiddy...
