So I had my y560 for about 7 months now. I noticed the left hinge for the monitor is starting to go bad, I think. Or it's just loose. When I closed my laptop I was just looking at the edges to see if the zipper from my laptop sleeve was scratching it or not.

Then I noticed that the back end of the monitor wasn't lining up as straight as it should be (when it's closed). It's barely noticeable. It's not like it is completely out of place. Just subtle enough that I could tell something isn't right.

When the monitor is closed, if I put my finger under the hinge and pull up, it moves, a lot. But the right hinge doesn't budge at all.

Not sure what to do =\ can't send in my laptop to Lenovo because finals is coming up and I have all my work on here. Anyone taken apart the y560 before?

I figured this would happen down the road, but not this soon in it's lifetime.

Thanks man, yeah that's what I was thinking about doing. I'll just have to send it in later. Just hate doing that, takes so long; the turn around period ughh
