    Howdy all,

I recently entered the market for a new mSATA SSD for my 2011 y560p. The current one is a 30gb Intel one that boasts rapiddrive and my "drivers" / drivers folder. I want to upgrade the mSATA ssd to a larger one(mainly to run Windows 7 and some programs, while using the stock HDD as storage space) and i just have a couple of questions,

    1. When I replace the mSATA SSD, would i migrate over my "drivers" folder, and reinstall them right off the drive? Since my drivers run off the current SSD, would I be able to boot my computer to install the needed drivers off the new SSD?

    2. From my research, I've narrowed down my choice to the CT256M4SSD3, but i am open to suggestions for "better" choices. So with that said, did I overlook better options?

    Thanks for looking!

I looked on the Crucial Website and the result was this:

"This part CT256M4SSD3 is not compatible.
View compatible parts for the IdeaPad Y560p"

Did you ever buy this to test it? I see others have successfully installed drives which Lenovo and other sites have said will not work.
