When I insert a card nothing happens,Nothing shows up in device manager,I've re-installed drivers from the Lenovo site and nothing has helped. If I could find the reader to uninstall it maybe that would help. The machine is not even a year old and I'm hoping it's not a hardware failure. Anyone else experienced this issue?

I have not experienced this issue before, but if you can, check Windows Disk Management and see if it is listed under there and just needs a drive letter assigned to it.

If it is not in Device Manager, and not showing up there...sounds like hardware failure. Windows has built-in drivers for that reader as well so it should be listed if you didn't install drivers.
