Hello, I purchased a brand new Y570 in August and it had been running perfectly fine until a few days ago. First, the battery stopped being charged. It was stuck at 7%. Then the system just died as if from lack of power a couple times. I checked the power supply and it is fine. Since the battery stopped working, I continued using the laptop with the power supply. However, the next day the laptop itself died. It does not power on at all. No lights come up, nothing works.

When i got my Y470 in july, it died randomly 2 weeks after I got it..my battery was fine and my charger worked but the laptop just died..i sent it in for a fix..they replaced the motherboard and the part where the charger is connected (i forgot the term they used)..it took over a month to get it back..i called every week and always got some false ETA but i eventually got it back.I personally hate their customer service but the process to send it in was seamless and free and my laptop has been working fine since.
