Just got a new Y580.. from the moment I first turned it on, it looked like it was running under 16bit color mode. All the colors on my display were out of whack. I checked my the settings for my PnP monitor and Intel HD card and it says it's running under True Color 32 bit, 59Hz.

Gonna try installing updates now, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Hrmm, I took a screenshot and sent it to my other laptop. The colors look fine when viewed from my other laptop. Would I be right in suspecting that this may be a hardware issue rather than software?

You won't see the screen color in a screenshot. Are the colors looking washed out?

You could have gotten a replacement, but whatever works for you...
