    Hello everyone
today I received my Y580 which came back with changed HDD. I installed Win7 on it and after restarting, before it started loading Windows, it gave like 10 quick alert sounds. After that a screen appeared where I could choose OS, in this case Windows 7 was the only one on the list.

After several restarts I noticed the number of those alerts is random, sometimes there are none, sometimes 10, 15 or even 20 and more
I also found out that getting into bios first and then quitting it helps a bit, cause there are no sounds afterwards, or just 5 or so.

I tried reinstalling Windows, removing HDD, RAM memory, battery, putting it back. None of this helped.

Anyone encountered similiar problem or know the workaround ?

I'd be grateful for any help.

Usually the beeps are pre-BIOS errors, but usually not in the 10+ range!

Long shot here, but are any of the keys stuck?
