    Hi all,

Well it's been a bit of a saga (first one got smashed up by the delivery company) but I finally received my y580 on Wednesday and on the whole I'm happy with it... Except...

My model (1080p screen) has pretty bad backlight bleed and uneven lighting across the panel. Not enough to notice with colours on the screen but bad enough to see in a dark scene of a game or movie.

Lenovo are happy to replace the laptop but I wanted to see if anyone else has found this with their y580/1080p models and to confirm if its just a "feature" of the panel they use in it.

Best way to tell is to type dead pixel checker into google and hit the top link, then choose black and hit f11 for full screen. I also do it in a dark room so it's easier to see with the glossy screen.

I'll try to upload a picture of the bleed shortly.

    Thanks guys
    IC
