    Hi guys,

Yesterday I installed Windows 8 in a dual-boot config with Windows 7. That all went fine, installed the latest drivers and Device Manager shows that all detected devices are working.

I also installed the Lenovo Energy Management (LEM) software (version 8 for Windows 8).

In windows 7, version 7 of LEM is used. Here, when you press Fn + F5 you get a popup where you can choose to enable/disable Bluetooth or WiFi separately. I personally never turn on Bluetooth on my laptop as I have no use for it and it will just drain my battery a bit more.

In Windows 8 though, when I press Fn + F5 I only get a popup that shows 'Airplane Mode On/Off'. This enables both WiFi and Bluetooth and I can no longer choose which one I want enabled or disabled.

Does anyone have a workaround for this where I can just enable the WiFi without also enabling Bluetooth under Win8?

(I know that I could just uninstall the Bluetooth driver, but I'd prefer to find a different workaround :))

    here we go:
1 - uninstall lenovo Energy management - reboot
2 - install win 7 lenovo Energy management
    3 - enable Bluetooth
3 - install win 8 Lenovo Energy management over the Win 7 one
    4 - Install Bluetooth Software

    Done..

I'm sure Lenovo will update it's Energy Management soon..
    That a big oversight.
